Five Oaks is a purpose-built rental building at 206 East 12th Street, in North Vancouver’s Central Lonsdale neighbourhood.
THE FIVE OAKS STORY
A name.
A living story.
Five Oaks takes its name from five mature oak trees preserved on the site. At the City’s request, the trees were carefully lifted and relocated rather than cut down, two on St. Georges and three along East 12th. Their story is part of this corner of the neighbourhood, and part of the place we call Five Oaks.
The numbers describe the two street frontages, not precise tree locations.
